I always jokingly tell people that I’ll see them in Spring since I willingly hibernate all winter. Although I say it as a joke, I’m only partially kidding. I spend a lot of my cold weather weekends snuggled up with Cooper, online shopping while binge watching something on Netflix with a glass of wine and I’m not ashamed to admit it. If I have to blame something in my life on my parents, maybe it’s my love for television but I figure since I also really love reading, it’s a decent balance and they can win this one. These are favorite shows on Netflix that are binge-worthy right now.
I’ve noticed a lot of fashion bloggers shopping this Shein and of course, my curiosity got the best of me. I’ve been taking some chances lately with shopping sites/brands that I’m unfamiliar with such as Boohoo and now, Shein. Excited with my Boohoo experience but was BLOWN away with Shein. To be honest, I definitely went into this shopping spree with the low expectations, assuming I’d have to return everything and rack it up to a nice try.
BOY OH BOY WAS I WRONG!
Devoted Delusion offers handcrafted body butters, scrubs, soaps and lip balm! Kristen, the owner, contacted me and asked If I was interested in trying her products. After browsing the site to see so many positive reviews (and being a huge fan of supporting small businesses) I couldn’t help but immediately respond with “YES!” Being a one woman army, I was rather impressed with how quickly my items arrived… and in the cutest pink polka dot packaging must I add! This package was practically heaven in a box including all of my favorite things; bath bombs, lip balm and body butter.
Lipstick is the best accessory, right? My friends always tease me that I don’t need more lipsticks and that makes me question whether I have a lipstick addition. I’m going to go with, I think not. *questions whether I’m in denial* I have the hardest time finding the right lipstick. If I find a brand I like, they don’t seem to have the right color and vice versa. If I like the color, I don’t like how it makes my lips feel or it comes off after a sip of coffee.
The thing about heartbreak is that it’s a devastating, annihilating yet very honest emotion.
After failed relationships, snooze worthy dates and a life full of fun with my girlfriends, it was hard for someone to keep my attention until I met him. Swipes left, swipes left, swipes…. right. I wasn’t looking for my “one” or even a relationship at that point. And little did I know that his choice to extend my Bumble connection on a day that I was feeling rather generous would take me on one wild ride that would forever change my life.
Let’s be serious, are we actually going to that Super Bowl party for the game or the phenomenal food? Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m 100% into the game because have you seen Tom Brady? (Sorry dad, still rooting for the Eagles) So as you can tell, my goal for today is to eat absolutely everything in sight and pray that Justin Timberlake is being accompanied by the rest of the *N’SYNC men (boys). I found this appetizer on Tasty a few months back and every time I take it to a social gathering, the crowd goes wild. SO DELICIOUS AND EASY! If it’s not easy, I don’t want it.
As I’m continuing to work on being more consistent with when I’m publishing content, I thought it’d be fun to do a Fridays Favorites post featuring whatever I’m currently loving. This week, I’m going with my favorite hair products! For the last year, I’ve been focusing on getting my hair healthier and to the shade of blonde that I want. I even went to the extreme of not using ANY heat on my hair for 67 days. #committed. Let’s get to my most asked questions about my hair & my favorite products right now.
I’m sure you already know but for those who don’t, TED talks (technology, entertainment, design) are influential videos from expert speakers on education, business, science, tech and creativity. TED is a non-profit devoted to spreading ideas and one of the amazing ways they do that is by sharing inspiring and insightful speeches from some of the world’s greatest minds.
Love is in the air, right?

Whether you’re in need of a more casual daytime look, an intimate dinner, a movie, an evening with your BFF galentine or a chic going-out ensemble, here’s some simple outfit ideas from Shein <3
BOOHOO? What’s the deal?
I did a little haul of clothing I got from Boohoo clothing boutique on my Instagram and my people were eager to hear more. Super excited because I’ve never ordered anything from them before but definitely a little hesitant since I’m unfamiliar with this company and honestly their prices seemed way too good to be true. I mean, how is it possible for everything to be under $20?
Buy me the best gift so I know it’s real
It’s almost Valentine’s Day, again. Yes, right when you believe that you’ve made it through the holiday season *BAM* it’s not over! It’s like you’re having a great week until someone at the office starts casually discussing where they’ve decided to take their PYT to dinner, only to realize it’s Valentines day. TRUST ME, I’ve been there! Luckily for you, I’m here to help you avoid getting those sad eyes, or worse, in the dog house with your significant other. Shopping for women isn’t always the easiest (you heard it here… last). If you don’t want to pick up the ordinary box of chocolates with a flower bouquet then you’re in the right place. PLUS, these gems won’t break the bank (under $100!)
Four Simple tasks to have a KILLER week
January is the time of year where we focus on making the next year better than the last. Often it means getting more organized. This year I’m trying to be more organized, make the most of my time (and to be more selfish but I’ll go into details about that in another post). Being organized and making the most of your time go hand in hand. All it takes is just one hour of motivation to sit and plan your week, and another hour of action. I started this attack by taking full advantage of my Sundays with four simple prepping tasks.
Guys, if you know me, you had to know this was coming. I could preach about coconut oil ALL day all. This is literally the holy grail of, everything. Although the image above is clearly sarcastic, it’s pretty much how I feel about this product. I use coconut oil every day on my skin, my hair, and even in the kitchen. Let me tell you all of the NATURAL benefits of how I use it!
